Learning Saturday

You’ve all heard the expression “You learn something new every day.”. Well, I have chosen to take it a step further. I am going to share a few new things each Saturday that I learned during the week. You can join me in the comments.

Let’s start today, shall we:

A friend of mine had Hemmhorroids really badly and went to the doctor where he rubber banded them so they will fall off. Needless to say, I learned about that procedure.

I also learned the difference in colored verses white Cauliflower. The colored Cauliflower has more vitamins and antioxidants, then the white.

Lastly, I also Googled and learned about Monkeypox. There is a case in Texas, now.

Okay, tired now. Looking forward to reading about anything new you learned or did.

Happy Wednesday

Yes, I know I can use the other term but I don’t feel like it.

My BFF (aka Koontzfan) Finally received the first t-shirt I got her for her Birthday over a month ago! Plus, I just received a full refund for it, last week so it’s a win-win..

C. picked me up and we went to the bank, to Denny’s for breakfast and to Walmart.

I got the original Nightmare On Elm Street and proceeded to watch it when I got home.

Anyway, gonna stop now because I am tired so… Good Night

Luck Today & I Am Part Irish

I don’t usually believe in Luck but…

I was feeling better today and C. needed to get pajamas to wear to her Sleep Study so she picked me up. We went to a thrift store and I bought a book and a stuffed tiger. C. likes tigers and her Birthday is approaching. Plus, some of those stuffed animals at those places just call to you…sort of like real ones at a shelter..”Take me, I need love.” Unfortunately, C. did not find pajamas there, so we went to Walmart, where she did. Then she wanted to go to lunch at Arizona Charlie’s Casino. The problem with that is we would want to gamble and I had no money so I said Okay and asked her to loan me a $20. After paying back her $20, I left the casino with $120. and C. made $60-80. It was awesome! I put it in the bank and then came home and ordered a few things.

Just finished dinner and dishes and getting really tired, now.

I hope you all had a good St. Patrick’s Day, if you celebrate. I will add that it’s a bit sad how many people don’t. I like most any Holiday where I can dress up and have fun!
