Possible Exposure

No, I don’t mean Camera!

For the last few days, Cin and I have both been sick with sinus issues. Hers is mainly a runny nose, while mine is a scratchy throat, sinus headaches, fatigue, sweating,… Last night Cin called to tell me Ben’s family have COVID. I haven’t seen Ben since Christmas but Cin has and he spent time with his family the day after we got together with him for dinner. I have spent time with Cin. Needless to say, she is getting a COVID Test per her doctor and I bought a Home Kit which should arrive in a few days.

The other issue I am having is my old Primary who is Not filling the Anti rejection I Need! I have signed up with a new doctor and Pharmacy so I am going to call the Pharmacy and double check the price of Home Delivery before calling the new doctor. I pray he will simply call it in.

I got the toilet unclogged today. It’s funny the little things you can do by yourself when you have to. I borrowed a tool from the neighbors. Turns out it was actually the pole for their awning. But, I ordered an actual Toilet Snake.

Luck Or Blessing

Sometimes I believe Luck can be a Blessing, but a Blessing is not always Luck.

Here’s how my day went:

While emptying the trash, I accidentally threw out my bag for the Homeless. I couldn’t get it because the Trashman had just left and I wasn’t going to climb in the dumpster. Just hoping that can of Cookies will survive and someone will find it who really needs it.

Cin and I went gambling since we had decided not to go on New Years Eve (that decision may be reversed, though) and I won over $100. We all know gambling is Luck but, the extra money can be a Blessing.

Then, I went to Port-Of-Subs after doing some minor grocery shopping. I had to go before the month is out because I knew I had a $5.00 credit for my Birthday. I was starving having not eaten since Breakfast so I got a Large which came out to $10.00. (Yes, one sandwich gives me two meals.). Imagine my surprise when I was informed I actually had a $10.00 credit on my account, so the sandwich was free! A Blessing!

On the way back to the car, I found a dime in the street. Luck. Hey, every bit, helps.

Came home and developed a killer Migraine so took my Imatrex and went down for a bit. The days ending might not be Luck or a Blessing, although I suppose it’s a Blessing to be able to feel pain and to have meds to help manage it. I accepted that ending after the good day, I had.

Weather, Observations, & Memory

It’s a majorly, windy day here in Las Vegas and the wind is cold! Please pray it isn’t windy or rainy on Saturday, when I actually move!

Speaking of moving, I love watching other people move. I don’t even mind helping. Seeing what people own gives you a glimpse of their lives. The neighbors were back, yesterday, and moving out more stuff. Leather Sofas, a Dresser, a large Television Set and plenty of toys for their two little ones. These are the neighbors across the way, that I thought were already gone.

I remember years ago, I helped my apartment neighbor move. She was a major Hoarder and had boxes and boxes of things never opened; as well as brand new clothes that would never fit her size. I found a really pretty dress that was my size and I took it. Yes, it was stealing. But, in my defense, she wasn’t paying me and when I said she could keep a few things at my place, she put so much in, my cats and I literally had a pathway and it was a fire hazard. I had to get a friend to take all her crap to her parents place which was a half hour or 45 minute drive, to get it to her! I did buy a Rocking Chair from her, though..and have since asked and received Gods’ Forgiveness for that theft.

How I Feel

It’s been really weird. I have been lethargic, like total lack of energy with headaches and nausea. I slept like forever! On and off since around 5 last night until 8 this morning. Add a Migraine to that around 9:30 last night. I am still not myself, yet..but need to try to fight this. I don’t believe it’s COVID and am not going to the doctor unless it continues for a few more days.

CDC has a COVID Tracer which I installed on my phone, but it’s a bit stupid because it traces by zip code. Zip codes cover large areas; wouldn’t that just make people nervous if there was a case? I am probably going to uninstall that app in a few.

My new Realtor never called yesterday, like she said she would and I made myself stay awake for that! I am going to call the office, today. I need to know the next step. I have a For Sale sign ready, but not sure when to set it up. Or, if I would do better with a Realtor. What is it about businesses and their employees lack of communication?

Saturday Sharing

One thing I learned this week from doing research is the law in Nevada that animals are not necessarily taken away from Abusers unless they have been abused 3 times! I have also discovered that my Ex is in jail and hope he stays there so the organization can save Bruno.

I have also had the reminders of giving control to God and trusting in him when I am under stress and unable to change a situation.

As well as, to stop allowing people to use me and not do their jobs, correctly. I am waiting on a call from the Manager of my Mortgage Girl! I am tired of her lack of communication and Follow-Thru.

What have you learned or been particularly reminded of, this last week?

Received my Secret Santa Gifts today and am really excited! I can’t wait to move and set up my new place! The person that had me spent about $40-50!

Saturday Sharing

Another Saturday.. Hope you’ve all had a good week.

What did I learn this week?

That my doctors can be annoying and some need a much better bedside or professional manner toward their patients.

That you can find some very interesting and nice things, while Thrifting..if you are willing to look.

That if you’re patient and have faith, good things can happen.. like finally reaching my credit goal for a Pre-Approval Letter.

Please be willing to share what new things you have learned this week. A lot of you are not going to get a passing grade when it comes to participation! Lol

Saturday Sharing

Things I learned this week.

I answered a question on Reddit about what you believe happens when you die, and was accused of taking the easy way out with Paschal’s Wager.  I didn’t even know what that was!  I just answered with my belief.  And, No, I am not going to share the definition.  You get to look it up.

I also looked up the meaning of the word, ‘Dalliance’ so, you could say I learned that, too.

I also learned that I really don’t want to visit Disneyland much anymore because the Racism crap is getting ridiculous. They are redoing all the rides I grew up with and even took out the song ‘Zippity-Doo-Da’ due to being Racist and having roots from ‘Song-Of-The-South’.

I learned a lot of ways to kill a tree (Don’t Ask).

But, the main thing I learned this week is that Red Hot Candy gives me Migraines. I am pretty sure it’s the red dye because I have no problem with Cinnamon. Red Hots are one of my favorite candies, but after having Migraines for 4 days straight, I have no problem going back to missing out.

What did you all learn?

Saturday Sharing

Hey, it’s Saturday, and this is the part of my blog where I share what I have learned this week. I hope you will join me and share what you’ve learned, in the comments.

1. A Whale is related to the Hippopotamus. This actually came from a blog I Follow, but I can’t find the person to give credit to, so, if it’s you…Thank You!

Facts from ‘The Gentle Barn’ in California. ‘The Gentle Barn’ is an animal rescue organization that rescues abused farm animals. I totally want to visit! Can we say Bucket List item? They even encourage you to Hug A Cow! Okay, back to things learned:

2. The Turkey is the closest living animal to the Dinosaurs. Gives a whole new perspective to Thanksgiving Dinner now, doesn’t it?

3. The Pig actually has dog like tendencies and likes to have their bellies rubbed. *They are also quite smart and they are clean animals when not playing in the mud…but, I knew that.

4. If you are allergic to Wheat (Me) and you usually take GlutenEase Extra Strength, you need to take 2 pills of GlutenEase Regular verses one of Extra Strength, to get the same results. Yeah, that was a tough life lesson.

5. And finally, Critical Racial Theory is now being taught in schools. It’s pretty much Marxism or reverse Racism teaching about all the terrible things White People did, over time

And, the bell has rung so class is over. See you all next week. Same seats. Keep your eyes and ears open to learn something new.

7 Vegas Years

As of yesterday, I have lived in Las Vegas, NV for 7 Years (-5 months in AZ which was a waste of time).

Despite the weather at times, I still love it! The lights, the activity, the people! Even if I didn’t gamble, it’s fun to check out everything in the different hotels and casino’s.

Las Vegas is ever changing so things I remember from visiting when young are long gone, replaced with different things.

Do you like where you live? If money were no object, would you move somewhere else? As much as I like it here, sometimes I wonder about Europe like Austria. The houses are so pretty there in their little villages; but, then I wonder if I would get bored like I did in Arizona, once again coming back here. I have also considered Florida, but, there is to much rain and the size of the bugs there would keep me inside.

Doing a lot better than yesterday, but still a bit tired, so taking it easy, again.
