Cereal & Pride NOT Proud of Cereal

Hey Guys

The word for the week via The Confusing Middle is Cereal. You really should check out the site and take part in some prompts. Theconfusingmiddle.com

That being said:

I am not a Breakfast person. Never have been. When I was young, my mother said I had to eat something after getting up even if it was just a piece of cake. While I do enjoy pancakes, toast, hash-browns, crepes and Cereal, I do not necessarily eat them for Breakfast.

When it comes to cold cereal, I love Lucky Charms…What’s not to like? They’re magically delicious! Plus, they are Gluten-free. I become a kid again eating the Cereal first then enjoying spoonfuls of marshmallows. Sometimes, I will just eat it dry from the box, as a snack. I also like a few of the other gluten-free Cereals out there. Vanilla Oats or Pumpkin & Flax Seed. I feel good knowing I am making healthy choices with those. As far as hot Cereal, I grew up on Cream-of-Wheat and Oatmeal. I used to love Cream-of-Wheat until I became gluten-free and while Oatmeal is okay, I have to be in the mood for it.

Today is the 14th Anniversary of my Kidney Transplant, and in that aspect, I am doing fine. Not a party throwing occasion but I am still proud. God isn’t ready for me, yet.

UnHealth & Sad Stuff

Been having some health issues and a bit concerned. Possible kidney infection due to weird symptoms so went for labs Friday morning. It’s been almost 14 years since my Transplant and I am praying it is a minor infection, if that, verses rejection. Infection can be treated with medication modification while rejection could mean dialysis and another transplant. Prayers Please.

Then after labs, I visited J. while the cats were picked up from the rescue organization. So sad. Princess was terrified and didn’t want to get in the carrier. We chased her for like an hour to grab her. Then I found out the last time J picked her up was to spank her so she probably thought she was in trouble.

The girl that picked them up was really rude, too. But in good news, both cats are now at Petsmart waiting to be adopted and being listed as bonded so they go together.

This is Tazzy.

What’s stupid though is the organization is calling Tazzy..Alexey and Princess..Tazzy. I sent them an anonymous email asking them to please change Princesses name as she has to be confused enough. She doesn’t need more stress by being called the name of her brother.

The organization itself is pretty good, though…as, I think that’s the same organization we adopted Puma from. It’s called Foreclosed Upon Pets.

Health and Busyness

So much for a daily blog, right?  Yeah, I suck.  I know.

I am not going to make excuses, but, I will update you.

Been helping with my neighbors Yard Sale.  She made $600. bucks last weekend and she is having it again tomorrow and Saturday.  Also, been helping with our Bible Study via Zoom.  We are studying a book titled ‘Boundaries’ which is right on point, but, there are a lot of Bible verses to look up; which I am trying to do.

Now, we are at today.  Now, I am not one to get paranoid but I do have to remember reality.  Today I felt like I had a UTI.  Burning, couldn’t go hardly at all, etc..  So, I drank Cranberry Juice and tried some Vinegar Water.  I used to drink Vinegar Water for other reasons with no problem.  But, I had to jump up from my movie to suddenly vomit….Sorry, if that’s TMI.  After which, I have had water and Pedialite.  I don’t really hurt, but I am a bit tired and dizzy.    I am not panicking and will see how I feel, tomorrow.  I hate to go to the hospital…I still owe them $100 dollars….But, I did have a Kidney Transplant almost 14 years ago…I just pray this isn’t signs of Rejection.

Most transplants don’t last forever although I did read about a woman whose transplant has lasted over 80 years!
