When moving into an RV, there are things you need to consider:. Barf Bags! I learned this last night when I was sick. I am not going into to much detail but vomiting in the sink clogs it up, and with the bathroom on the other end from the bed..Well…. Anyway, today I ordered some of those bags you keep in the car (or, in my case, RV) they have the cup to go over your mouth, are leak proof and tie at the top after each use. I also got some Anti-Nausea meds.
I am blessed in the mornings to be able to see the birds on the wires. This morning, there were about 5-7. What was funny was there were 4 birds facing front, one facing backward, then two more facing front ( approximately). The one facing backward even went around in circles for a bit, while the others watched, probably thinking, “What the heck is wrong with you?”. I like to believe I am That bird. I am Myself, and don’t really care what others think! I have never wanted to be “like everyone else”. God made me Different for a reason!
Are you a Follower of Paul’s Blog, ‘The Captains Speech’ here on WordPress? Why not? He’s great! Witty, Charming, Sarcastic and sometimes Funny As Hell. I highly recommend it. Anyway, he’s having a Blog Share Party where you share your Blog in the comments. You can meet new people, and get more Followers! I am passing the word, in case, anyone is interested.
Hey, it’s Saturday, and this is the part of my blog where I share what I have learned this week. I hope you will join me and share what you’ve learned, in the comments.
1. A Whale is related to the Hippopotamus. This actually came from a blog I Follow, but I can’t find the person to give credit to, so, if it’s you…Thank You!
Facts from ‘The Gentle Barn’ in California. ‘The Gentle Barn’ is an animal rescue organization that rescues abused farm animals. I totally want to visit! Can we say Bucket List item? They even encourage you to Hug A Cow! Okay, back to things learned:
2. The Turkey is the closest living animal to the Dinosaurs. Gives a whole new perspective to Thanksgiving Dinner now, doesn’t it?
3. The Pig actually has dog like tendencies and likes to have their bellies rubbed. *They are also quite smart and they are clean animals when not playing in the mud…but, I knew that.
4. If you are allergic to Wheat (Me) and you usually take GlutenEase Extra Strength, you need to take 2 pills of GlutenEase Regular verses one of Extra Strength, to get the same results. Yeah, that was a tough life lesson.
5. And finally, Critical Racial Theory is now being taught in schools. It’s pretty much Marxism or reverse Racism teaching about all the terrible things White People did, over time
And, the bell has rung so class is over. See you all next week. Same seats. Keep your eyes and ears open to learn something new.
Wow! I just got notice this site has reached 5,000 All Time Views! I must be doing something, right. So, Thank You, All! Without readers, I would be sad.
Decided to go with a different Lender/Mortgage Company. I finally talked to the girl for the first and last time from the last one. She had an attitude, was pushy on using HER Realtor and did not explain how an FHA Loan works.
My new Realtor recommended the girl he works with. She is totally friendly, explained the FHA Loan situation which got my hopes back up, likes cats and…her last name is the word, “Purple”! Seriously, is this a good sign? So, I am going to fill out the App over the weekend.
Last night, the guy interested in my place brought his wife over to see my place. Even the neighbor came with him (his sister). They took pictures and asked if I was firm on the price; so, there is definite interest.
Have I mentioned lately that I have super, smart, Followers? Well, my favorite, recovering slob nailed it, this time. If you haven’t checked out her site, you should
, I believe. She can correct me in the comments, if I’m wrong.
Anyway, onto our Christmas Quest:
Have you ever been on the Quest to find the perfect gift? Maybe, you want to get something unique, that noone including the recipient would think of, or maybe it’s something specific they asked for.
When I was young, I believe it was the Cabbage Patch Doll. My parents had to go to store after store discovering they were sold out before finally finding one. This was before the internet and cell phones… when people simply waited in lines at stores hoping the popular toy was in stock.
Or, even going to the mall with friends at Christmas time was a Quest. You had your list of people and possible ideas, but there was a time frame and budget to get it all done.
And tomorrow is R. It might be a little advice to help you out. I’ll give you a hint. It’s not Rudolph! Lol
I must say I have some smart I Followers. Katiegirl06460 got it right for today’s topic….You really should check out her blog. Like me, it’s pretty much her daily life…
Anyway, before I continue, just a quick update. Today sucked. I got a double Migraine so bad I almost thought I would wind up in the hospital. I thank God for taking the pain away.
So, today’s Christmas topic is Elves:
Now, I didn’t really feel like doing research on Elves but we all know they help Santa make toys. I have to wonder what requirements are on the application.. aside from some wood working experience. I mean, you would have to be honest if you are going to help Santa with his lists of good and bad children, you would have to work well with others, plus, you would have to like animals since you would be taking care of the reindeer. Plus, some Elves need to be able to cook, sew and clean. But, Santa does provide room and board, and it seems like a lot of fun, I’ve noticed.
The first Elves made most toys from wood and they would literally have to keep track of all the children. Now, with technology, the tracking is easier but they need to know how to work with plastics and machines to crank out the same toys over and over. I don’t think that would be as much fun.
I wonder how many children wanted to be an Elf or where Santa found the Little People, he hired. Were a lot of them family members from those in The-Wizard-Of-Oz? and here’s a thought… Could Santa be related to an Elf in the past?
Just some thoughts before I post tomorrow about Christmas and the letter F. Should be Fun,…but.. maybe not.
If you’re like me, you don’t like buying clothing in stores and never have..even before this pandemic and quarantine business. The fitting rooms in stores are small and dirty most of the time plus the lighting is nowhere near the same as your house. But, you still want clothing that fits well and is fashionable and stylish to you.
I enjoy online shopping and I like unique clothing. I was never the trendy type. My mom taught me that by Always buying from the clearance rack..but that’s another story. Some day I will tell you about the Ditto jeans fiasco…
I found a shopping site, I had never heard of before and they have some cute clothing. It’s called Breezecloth.com and it is a small company that just started up. Supposedly, the owners started it in the U.S. but the clothing is actually being made in Hong Kong and maybe China…That’s another thing, why is all the totally, cute stuff made in China? It makes buying mainly American brands, quite boring….Anyway, I did some research and contacted the company before taking the risk. I also used PayPal so as to pay safely. The problem is, you cannot find this company via Google or Yahoo and since it is so new, there is not enough interest for any actual ratings, yet. I will let you know if and when I receive my orders. I just pray this company is legit.
Since this post is about online clothing; what sites do you recommend? Especially from my female Followers. I love Vintage and unique, type fashion; but anywhere you suggest would be cool to check out.
I would like to thank you all for your answers on Yesterdays Post and question if you are or are not taking the Covid Vaccine. It makes me happy when we can be adult and share our personal views without arguments and debates or name calling, etc.
My sister sent me a text of everything she believes the vaccines are made of which includes human tissue or blood and dead animal blood. I am going to make my own decision on this. I am doing my own research. I have an appointment scheduled for my first dose next week, and C. also got an appointment at the same place 15 minutes after mine. We also did the same for the 2nd dose in April.
In other news, I just listened to one of the Dr. Suess books which is being banned. “If I Ran The Zoo.” was actually being read aloud. My question is, “What’s wrong with it?” Sure, he mentions Mosques and Noah’s Ark, but I find nothing offensive, there. Maybe, it’s me but I am going to listen to the others also, that are considered Bad, if I can find them.
I believe we should have had a vote in this. I think most people think we are going overboard.
One reason, I skip posting on Sundays is to get more to post about..not that, that really works but….
Yesterday, I watched the movie ‘Hacked’. It is an Indian or Hindi movie in English. The reviews don’t match the movie, at all. Basically, a high tech company receives a new computer system and as two of the employees..one being the manager…test it out, the building is broken into. The people who broke in; want access to the new system, and all hell breaks lose. The system has the capability to hack into every system in the city and it also creates a seal of the rooms where it is located, closing the employees and bad people, together. The movie does show bad and good working together, but a lot of it made no sense. Especially, the ending. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are extremely bored and out of things to watch; but I can’t speak to badly since I got it at a Dollar Store.
Hadn’t had a Migraine for four days until last night and today. Maybe, the VICI Patches are actually helping the frequency? Knock on wood.
*Reminder- If you are a business I have no interest in, someone privately selling something or do not have a semi-normal profile photo; I Will Block You From Following Me. until you get the hint.
It’s to bad WordPress doesn’t have a way to do that once, so they just stay blocked. And it’s also to bad I have to keep posting these reminders.
Yesterday was one of my harder days. I am not going to say I was overreacting despite the fact Sis 2 said “It’s just a car and not your health.” She was My car and the only car I had. I remember how proud I was when I got her and tried my damndest to hold on. Anyway, she’s gone to Carvana to be a “Blessing” to someone else.
I still want to cry, a bit. I don’t really feel strong yet, but, I am working on it. After all, it’s done and the decision can’t be changed.
Time to focus on moving forward and life getting better.
Some people don’t understand, but, some of us weren’t raised on busses or public transportation. I think I have been on a bus maybe twice in my life and it’s a bit scary to me.
I pray this is the financial decision I needed to get me on track. I also pray God gives me peace in moving forward.
Thanks for reading and understanding. It really means a lot.
*Reminder- If you are a business I am not interested in, don’t have a normal type profile picture, or someone along those lines I have not communicated with before; I Will Delete Your Following! Again and Again until you stay away.
