Not Doing Things Today

I didn’t do anything I meant to, today.. like paperwork. But I did talk to and decide to try a different Realtor. I swear, these Realtors all start out gung ho and happy, then they fade into oblivion when they can’t find anything. Luckily, per Nevada law, I can switch as much as I want as long as I don’t sign anything, officially.

Watched some 9/11 shows since the 20th Anniversary is tomorrow. I do this every year as a reminder of something I will really never forget.

My Puma would have been 17 years old, today.

I miss my beautiful, Bengal (“Bear Cub)

The other day, I accomplished this!

My Ex’s Graffiti Tag was on it. So, I covered it up. He actually painted it originally, which is okay.

Lastly, we got some Monsoon Rain which was nice. Probably didn’t help our drought much and definitely didn’t cool us off, but better than nothing.

Slow Saturday & Decorating

Yeah, it’s Saturday and going down with a Migraine. It’s 4:15. Need to be up and healthy tomorrow when my house gets painted and hopefully finished.

Was thinking of how people decorate their places and how people are into so many different things. I just find it interesting.

My BFF is into Brenden Fraser and my other friend is into Pacman. I, myself, am into Cat stuff but also something else, at present. I ordered something really cool which should arrive by tomorrow so will definitely post a picture.

So, Please tune back in on Monday.

Busy Day

Despite not sleeping well, last night. I had a very, busy day, today.

It is way to hot to watch television in the back room so I decided to move the television into the bedroom. Now, my bedroom/living room/kitchen area looks more like a motel room or a studio, but, it works.

Then, I worked in the back room scrubbing the litter boxes and floor, as well as, moving things around

Now, I have a major Migraine and am going down with Imatrex. Seriously, I am sure a lot of this has to do with the smell and yes, I wore a mask.

“I just love playing in cat poo!” 💩 said hopefully no one ever!

Getting excited about tomorrow since Ben is going to start painting the house.

A-Z Challenge-N = The North Pole

We’ve all heard that Santa lives at The North Pole, but, does he?

The North Pole is the northernmost part of the earth lying diametrically opposite The South Pole. There is no land, there. It’s all ice floating at the top of the Arctic Ocean. Animals live there, though; including Polar Bears, Seal, Walrus, Arctic Fox and Reindeer!

The closest City to The North Pole is Logyearbyn/Svalbard, Norway which is halfway between Norway and The North Pole. It is an ancient, mining city and the administrative capital of the archipelago and it’s dedicated to research, education and tourism. It has 2,000 inhabitants with 50 nationalities. There are two main streets, hotels, sports stores and a supermarket. There are also 3,000 Polar Bear so there is high risk for attack. This area is one of the most protected territories in the world, and almost everybody owns a snowmobile.

There is another North Pole, city in Alaska. This one has Christmas year round. Christmas decorations, a store called Santa’s House, streets with names of Kris Kringle Drive and Mistletoe Lane. Nearby is the Chen Lake Recreation Area with beaches, nature trails and picnic areas.

So, I’m thinking, Santa may actually live at The North Pole or at least somewhere near it, but, not the actual one, we know.

Although, I’ll bet that’s where the reindeer stay during the off season; especially Rudolph, as The North Pole experiences total darkness from October to March.

A-Z Challenge-L = Lights

We can thank Edward Hibbard Johnson for the invention of Christmas Lights on a string as he wanted to put Lights on a tree but candles were to dangerous. Lights are not only a Christian tradition; reminding you of the star that the Wise Men followed but they also represent the other nightly stars. I love Christmas Lights.

Heck, I simply love Lights, period. That’s one thing I love about Las Vegas. The lights, everywhere. It is so very pretty here at night.

*It was a rough morning… especially at feeding time. I just miss Puma watching me as I dish out the cat food, while waiting patiently. She had the most, beautiful, gold eyes. I wish this pain would go away fast, but, it’s only been 2 days. I did get dressed today so my BFF and I could FaceTime. It’s the little accomplishments and taking things one day at a time.

A-Z Challenge – D = Decorating & Department Stores

And, it’s Monday!  Back to the Challenge and my favorite Holiday… Christmas!

Let’s talk about Decorating:

I love Decorating for Christmas.  If I had a big house and a bit of money, I would love to Decorate the entire yard for people to drive by.  Some people take months to Decorate their homes.  Decorating for Christmas inside or outside is easy and doesn’t have to be expensive.  Use ribbons, bows and fabrics, use stuffed animals and dress them for the season…Add cardboard or even pictures of Christmas related items such as Santa and Reindeer.. Maybe, put a Nativity outside to remind people of the real reason for the season, and play some Christmas music out the window to add to the ambiance.  As for inside, string popcorn, tape cards or pictures on the walls, hang socks beside the fireplace or draw one to hang near them.  If you have a tree, decorate that.  Or, just put out anything you own in Christmas colors of red, green, silver and gold.

Now, let’s visit the Department Stores, or at least the catalog:

Sears was a big, Department Store when I was growing up…long before the internet, computers, etc…when children played outside until the street lights came on…but I digress…Anyway, the Sears (and Robucks, I believe) catalog came out every year just for Christmas.  We children, would go through that catalog until the pages were worn making lists of things we wanted from our parents, relatives and Santa Clause.  After Christmas, we…most girls, anyway… would cut pictures of people out of the catalog and have paper families to play with…Oh, you never did that?  Well, to bad.  It helped develop my imagination… Anyway, Christmas was the best time to visit Department Stores because of all the fun Decorations they put up.

Tomorrow is E.  Bet you can’t guess where I might go with it.  I’ll give you a hint… it’s Christmas related. HA!  Sorry, if that wasn’t Helpful.
