It started this morning as I was reading my morning comics! They kept talking about ‘No Pants Day, so I Googled it. I mean, That can’t be a real Holiday, right? Surprise! It is.
It was started by some college students as a joke. They would take their mid-terms or whatever then immediately go home and take off their pants. Soon, it became a sort of Holiday. In some places, they even have No Pants subway rides, but aren’t doing that, this year. Anyway, the rules are, you could wear dresses, skirts or shorts but no Pants. I know…not exactly my interpretation either, but, if you are more comfortable being completely Pantsless; Go For It! Just make sure blinds and curtains stay closed and don’t answer the door. Actually, the day is over so you will have to mark your calendars for next year. Sorry.
Anyway, I also got extremely stoked when Amazon dropped off another package from my Secret Santa… Yeah, little things excite me…. Here’s what came:
Seriously, this is so Cool! I have been playing it up and even told my friend, Jul to bring her new socks on a camping trip because I knew of a cool lake where they have empty cabins!
My mother used to make Christmas Cookies to share with the hospital staff..I was in the hospital for check-ups a lot due to my disease..and teachers. She made Butter Balls, Bourbon Balls and more! The Bourbon Balls were deliciously strong and you always had to gargle before driving and carry extra in case a policeman pulled you over. I also love Gingerbread Men..Hey, when you get annoyed just bite it’s head off, and Maple Leaves.
So many cartoons were on during Christmas time! Santa Clause Is Coming To Town, Frosty The Snowman, Rudolph, and one of my favorites..A Charlie Brown Christmas. …No, I am not getting into the controversy…But, I love the idea of the sad little tree that needed love, the Christmas play with Lucy wanting to be the Christmas Queen and Linus explaining the true meaning of Christmas. What’s your favorite Christmas cartoon?
As for clothing, I love to have reason to dress up. So many clothes are themed now with reindeer, snowmen, Santa, elves and even cats singing carols; and if you don’t like dressing up with themes, the colors of the season are fun, too.
While I know this is my month to share about Christmas…Never mind Christmas in July…Tomorrow is Easter and I hope you all have a good one, however you choose to celebrate.
C. had to pick up Ben from work so I asked if I could go along. We passed a restaurant that I cannot pronounce the name ‘Las Pupusa’. I tried it way to many times and even Googled it. I had C. cracking up by either adding too many poo’s,s’ss or la’s, and it wasn’t/isn’t deliberate. My letters just twist when I try to say the word.
After dropping Ben off, we decided to go gambling, again. This time at Rainbow Casino. It was really cool and they even gave us free gifts. C. loaned me $20 which I repaid her plus I even got to spin the wheel and won $50. on it. We also got $12.50 to spend at the restaurant but didn’t want to wait half hour. At least it’s good for 7 days. I left with $30 and bought us dinner at Denny’s.
Came home to find my clothes from Breezecloth.com arrived but don’t want to try them on til tomorrow. I was tired of smelling like smoke and needed to take a bath and crawl in bed. They look nice but the one pair of pants has cat faces with pink cheeks, so if I keep it, I will need to get purple fabric marker or paint to fill that in, before I wear them.
I have decided not to get new windows but to get the outside of the house painted, instead.
If you’re like me, you don’t like buying clothing in stores and never have..even before this pandemic and quarantine business. The fitting rooms in stores are small and dirty most of the time plus the lighting is nowhere near the same as your house. But, you still want clothing that fits well and is fashionable and stylish to you.
I enjoy online shopping and I like unique clothing. I was never the trendy type. My mom taught me that by Always buying from the clearance rack..but that’s another story. Some day I will tell you about the Ditto jeans fiasco…
I found a shopping site, I had never heard of before and they have some cute clothing. It’s called Breezecloth.com and it is a small company that just started up. Supposedly, the owners started it in the U.S. but the clothing is actually being made in Hong Kong and maybe China…That’s another thing, why is all the totally, cute stuff made in China? It makes buying mainly American brands, quite boring….Anyway, I did some research and contacted the company before taking the risk. I also used PayPal so as to pay safely. The problem is, you cannot find this company via Google or Yahoo and since it is so new, there is not enough interest for any actual ratings, yet. I will let you know if and when I receive my orders. I just pray this company is legit.
Since this post is about online clothing; what sites do you recommend? Especially from my female Followers. I love Vintage and unique, type fashion; but anywhere you suggest would be cool to check out.
