A Post About Nothing

Do you Follow The Confusing Middle at ConfusingMiddle.com here on WordPress? Well, you should! They give these super cool weekly Prompts to write about.. like this one.

The subject of “Nothing”.

You know, there is really no such thing as Nothing. It’s seriously impossible to do. You will ask someone, “What are you doing?” and they will reply, “Nothing”. But, that’s a Lie! They could have been Thinking, Daydreaming, Sleeping, Peeing, Picking Their Nose, Watching Television, etc.. but I guarantee you they were doing Something! It might not have been important but physical Nothing is impossible.

Future Plans? “What are you doing today?”. “Nothing”. is also impossible. You just don’t know what you are doing yet. You haven’t set any actual plans, but once again, you will wind up doing Something, whether you like it or not.

I think the only way I can believe in Nothing is in the Biblical sense. But even then, there was Darkness, and God said, “Let there be light!” (Genesis).

Barf Bags, Being Different, & Bloggers

When moving into an RV, there are things you need to consider:. Barf Bags! I learned this last night when I was sick. I am not going into to much detail but vomiting in the sink clogs it up, and with the bathroom on the other end from the bed..Well…. Anyway, today I ordered some of those bags you keep in the car (or, in my case, RV) they have the cup to go over your mouth, are leak proof and tie at the top after each use. I also got some Anti-Nausea meds.

I am blessed in the mornings to be able to see the birds on the wires. This morning, there were about 5-7. What was funny was there were 4 birds facing front, one facing backward, then two more facing front ( approximately). The one facing backward even went around in circles for a bit, while the others watched, probably thinking, “What the heck is wrong with you?”. I like to believe I am That bird. I am Myself, and don’t really care what others think! I have never wanted to be “like everyone else”. God made me Different for a reason!

Are you a Follower of Paul’s Blog, ‘The Captains Speech’ here on WordPress? Why not? He’s great! Witty, Charming, Sarcastic and sometimes Funny As Hell. I highly recommend it. Anyway, he’s having a Blog Share Party where you share your Blog in the comments. You can meet new people, and get more Followers! I am passing the word, in case, anyone is interested.

Two Questions

I figured tonight might be a good time to ask some Questions:

1. Tell me about one Christmas or Hanukah gift you received this year. It can be funny, ugly, weird or your best gift ever!

I’ll start:. While most of my gifts have not been received yet, I was quite happy to receive a $50. Petco Gift Card from one of my BFF’S in California. I haven’t used it yet, but it will really help in the future.

2. Since most Bloggers are also readers, I am curious what book you are reading now and do you think you will be finished with it by the New Year?

I am reading a book titled, ‘The Three’ by Sarah Lotz. It’s about four Airplanes that crash on the same day in different parts of the world and 3 survivors. It’s Fiction but you wouldn’t guess that the way it’s written. I just started it yesterday, so I doubt I will be done by the 1st.

My Honest Opinion

I might lose some readers by posting this but I am tired of having to accept and keep my feelings under wraps. If we can’t agree to disagree on certain topics, I understand if you choose to Unfollow. However, if you have been a long time WordPress Friend, please text me a polite Good Bye.

That being said:

I am a Christian and I believe what I have been taught about the Creation of Man and Woman! I do not believe in The Big Bang or cells just suddenly turned into skin, bones and able to communicate in language.

Believing in Creation also means I believe a person is What they are meant to be when you are born. You have a Penis, it’s a Boy! You have a Vagina, It’s a Girl! I am sure there are a few deformities but I think them few and far between.

This LGBTQ..RVYZ stuff (I added that) is ridiculous. You are a Woman who likes another Woman. Good for you. A Man who likes the same? Your Choice. Why should I have to celebrate every time one of you announces it? In my beliefs, it’s against God. No, God doesn’t Hate you and neither do I. I actually don’t care. But, I care enough Not to condone your actions. God is your Judge, Not Me!

Then, we have these parents who are letting their children decide what gender they want to be. This is ridiculous! When I grew up, I was taught a Woman can be whatever she wants.. Doctor, Teacher,Truck Driver..but Not A Man! Sure, I could dress like a Man and use a male name, but I am still a Woman!

I don’t believe God made mistakes and I don’t believe we have the right to change what we were born as just because we want to.

It is no longer funny to dress as the opposite gender for Halloween, and using Pronouns is ridiculous. I refuse to call someone “They”. That goes beyond every English lesson I was ever taught!

So, I guess in conclusion, I just had to air my frustrations with society today. I am sure some nasty comments will arise, but these are my views and not for debate. After all, it’s my blog. I am sorry if I have offended anyone.

I just sincerely hope this world comes back to God before he comes back to us!

Saturday Sharing

Hello Class,

It’s been a while since we’ve had class so welcome to anyone new! This is the part of my Blog where we share what we’ve learned during the week. I share here, and you share in the comments. I believe everyone learns something during the week and it can be any subject, whatsoever. All is fair game.

On that note, today was a reminder from the Apostle Peter that we are Blessed to believe although we have not seen and that our trials are temporary since we are human..if we have God in our lives.. and continue to focus on our long-term reward of eternal life.

This week, I learned that Lemon Juice kills Cockroaches. Well, that’s what the internet showed. Truthfully, I don’t think I can get close enough to one to squeeze the juice from a Lemon on it.

Anyway, I am tired tonight and not looking forward to waking up tomorrow as it will probably be even earlier, with Daylight Savings Time starting or ending again.

I am very grateful my little cat was able to stay here with me.

She gives me cuddles at night and keeps me from being depressed over not having my other two, at my side.

Getting Saved, Etc..

My friend over at PurpleSlobInRecovery has been sharing a lot about her Christian Walk, and has requested I share my Testimony.

I was raised as a Catholic and was Baptized as a baby, but, that is not the same as a accepting Christ as my personal Savior! I have always loved to read and my mother kept giving me books. The books were about children in my age group…I was 13 at the time… and I soon discovered they all had the same ending. “Then, I discovered Christ as my Savior, blah.. blah.. blah.” It got to where I would read the last page first, due to the predictability. So, one day, I threw the book across the room and said, “Okay, God, Change Me!”. Mind you, I was 13! The fireworks or lightening I expected didn’t happen, so I was like “Okay, Whatever”. But, the next morning, it was like my world changed! I was seeing clearer and even smelling the flowers! More aware and grateful for the things God put around me.

PurpleSlob is adding something she is grateful for, in her daily Posts until Thanksgiving, so I have decided to try to do the same. I will try to add one thing at the end.

In other news- I was really sick last night and this morning, but am doing better. I hate being sick at other people’s places, but technically, I don’t have my own place, so…

In Good News- Cin saw a bunch of furniture by the Dumpster, so we are really hoping/praying the neighbors are moving soon so I can get my own place. Even small, it can’t be much smaller than the space I have here, plus, I can get my babies, back.

*While I know I complain a bit, I am grateful to Cindy for taking me in. I am sure it was hard to open her house to another person and their cat. That is a sign of a true friend, and I am thankful that God put her in my life.

Saturday Sharing

Hello Class,

Another week has gone by and boy is the year going by fast!

I am glad you are all over 18 because the things I learned are a bit odd.

I watch different cooking shows and it was mentioned on one of them that Pineapple can make your semen taste better. Obviously, this was Not a professional show. Now, I cannot and will not have someone test this to see if it’s a fact. But, if you are a man, you may wish to test it with your woman. No, I really do not care to hear about the results.

The 2nd thing I learned refers to the Holocaust. The selections of how many people were allowed to live when the trains arrived was determined every day by how many workers were needed in the camp; despite the fact that a lot of work was useless.. like moving gigantic cement blocks from one end of the camp to the other.

Looking forward to reading about what you have learned this week. It could be about Anything!

Pirate Prompt,Racism & Migraines..Oh My!

The Prompt per The Confusing Middle this week is the word, ‘Pirate’. He posts a word every week to write about. I suggest you check out the site…After you read this…I don’t have all night to wait, you know… Anyway, so this week’s word is Pirate because I believe ‘Talk Like A Pirate Day” is coming up. Personally, that’s not my thing. Plus, how can we still have that when they won’t even make ‘Peter Pan’ anymore?.. probably due to Pirate violence. Now, give me ‘Talk Like A Valley Girl Day’ or ‘Talk In Pig-Latin Day’ and I would be totally into those! Heck, I talk Valley Girl pretty much anyway since I am from California. I never actually lived in The Valley but the lingo is still here. Technically, I think Las Vegas is a Valley, I mean, we are surrounded by Mountains.

Don’t know if I mentioned but my Park Manager is Racist. She does not like people who don’t speak English and is apparently rude to them, plus, comments behind their backs to others. This better not cause a problem for the people buying my house! They don’t speak much English. But, they do already have a place here, so I am hoping that will help them get approved.

Started a Migraine last night which went all night and didn’t quit until this afternoon after a 2nd Imatrex. Luckily, I take Imatrex by halves so it only equalled one actual pill. It was horrible though, and not only on the opposite side of my head then usual but was mainly by my eye.

Oh well, I survived and am living to tell about it.

Saturday Sharing

Good Morning Class,

Today is a bit different as, I thought we should share where we were or how we heard about the events of 9/11; this being the 20th Anniversary! Most of the bloggers I follow are doing blogs about it, but if you aren’t or just still want to Share, Please do so in the comments.

2001, and I had just gotten married to Idiot in May. I was a Switchboard Operator for the corporate office of Bally Total Fitness in California.

September 11th, I worked from 6 til 3. I hadn’t been at work long and was walking through the showroom when one of the televisions on the bicycle screen showed the first plane hit the Twin Towers. I remember a bunch of us watching in horror as the 2nd plane hit! I called my mom and woke her up, telling her to turn on her television set. Then, I called Idiot. Yes, I think I called my mother, first. Idiot worked for the Naval Base, as a civilian, and the news was saying they weren’t sure if the terrorists would go after the bases. Idiot told me the base was put on strict lockdown and it was a bitch getting on, even as an employee.

Every year, I watch the videos of the events with the people calling from the planes to the survivors stories. I continue to pray for the families of all affected.

That event led to my fear of staying in tall buildings for very long. An apartment penthouse has no appeal to me.

Don Henley – The Heart Of The Matter Lyrics – video Dailymotion

The Confusing Middle has given us the word, ‘Forgiveness’ as this week’s Prompt. Before I get into this:. Why don’t you go visit the site? It’s really cool and thought provoking….I’ll Wait…

Twiddling my thumbs…do do do do, do do do, do do do do,..do,.. do do do do do, thinking weird thoughts, hmmm..do I have time to o…Oh, You’re back? Great! Hope you are a new Follower for them, now.

Okay, So the first song I think of when thinking of Forgiveness is the one above.

But, Forgiveness does not have to be romantic. God say to forgive others 70 x 7, I believe…I could be mistaken. I know there are a lot of 7’s….

Anyway, Forgiveness does not mean forgetting or that the hurt is gone. Emotional and even physical healing takes time. It doesn’t mean you have to let those people back in your life, either. Forgiveness means you can keep going through life without the hardness in your heart or your need for revenge. It means learning about and setting up Boundaries that you decide and will accept.

So, there’s my post on Forgiveness, and if you didn’t like it, Forgive Me for wasting your time.
