Sharing Saturday is cancelled today due to the fact that I have COVID.
I had a severe Migraine all day yesterday so took the Home Test and tested positive. I went to Emergency last night and had to call 9-1-1 in order to get there. They didn’t do much but calmed the pain so I slept all night when I got home.
I will say I liked the hospital (Henderson Hospital) compared to some I have been to. They are very caring and quick.
I feel Fluish with achey muscles, as well.
I am sure this is more Omicron but the Quarantine is the same.
I guess this is when I can be extra thankful for cell phones.
We interrupt the Sharing Saturday Post to bring you the following NewsFlash!
My house has Sold! Sight unseen.. except for pictures and for more than I asked for!
The person that is paying the Down Payment is buying it for a male friend so he can have his own place and stop living with her and her boyfriend. It’s a bit of a soap opera to be honest, but not my concern. I already have some money to Hold it and will get the rest of the Down Payment next week. Which is also when he is probably going to get park approval. They have agreed to let me stay here for 30 days to find a place.
Please pray God leads us somewhere safe and affordable, soon. I am not overly stressed because I know Gods’ got this,. But a little extra prayers from friends never hurts.
The government is helping to pay for people’s phones and plans through Cricket..and a few other companies…so I will only have to pay $5.00 a month for the next 6 months. This included a new phone which is annoying to get set up. Unfortunately, the reception really sucks between Cin and me, as well as, between me and another friend in Henderson. Yet, my friend in Texas can hear me clearly.
So, we got the phones on Friday, then went gambling where the machines refused to pay out. This was our 2nd or 3rd time at Emerald Island, so we have decided not to return there. Pizza Hut was good. Got the $11.99 Family Meal each and still have some left. Couldn’t find the movies we wanted to watch for free, though, so wound up watching television. Of course, sleeping at someone else’s house is never the same, so that threw my body off, too.
Today, we went back to Cricket to sort out some stuff on the phones..here, is hoping the reception will “fix itself through the transition”..per the girl at the store..then came home with a Migraine from Hell.
Took 2 Imatrex or one full one. Part of it could be stress over the phone plan, the fact Cins’ cars air-conditioning doesn’t work and the fact that I am running out of anti-rejection meds again. Gotta figure out just what my brother is covering, so I can start budgeting for them, better.
Anyway, looking forward to going to sleep without drugs (Imatrex) now, so, have a great night!
Strange things grow here in Las Vegas. A good example is; my Bag Tree
Look closely and you should see two hanging, plastic bags. One, at the upper mid left and the other on the lower right of the tree. Yes, I know the wind caused it, but I have to keep my sense of humor.
Also, I have a great home exercise routine you can do! Believe me, your muscles will feel it.
Pick up a piece of furniture or a heavy box and keep carrying it around and moving it from place to place. You can also vary the pieces and boxes..but be sure to do this for at least half hour at a time. If you really want to make it realistic, twist your foot or have a minor trip or fall, so your muscles feel that, as well.
We hardly had anyone show up for the Moving Sale, yet, most everyone that did, bought something. A neighbor and another couple practically bought out the furniture and quite a few knickknacks; but, there is quite a bit, left…which J. is probably going to throw away. I am going to bag up what I can and drive to Goodwill this week to donate it. J. has health issues but, overplayed the helplessness crap; which was annoying. She also bitched when people needed boxes to take stuff and was not consistent on prices, at all. C. got very upset when J. accused her of cheating her out of money.
There was some good, though..other then the stuff she did sell. I got to meet a girl in my Bible Study whom I had only met on Zoom, and another, local friend showed up, as well.
Truthfully, with Covid19 and it being a 3 day weekend, it was a terrible time for a Yard Sale and I think only about 15 people showed up. Needless to say, everyone is pretty much sore and tired now so, it is a day of rest and maybe not even getting dressed day, for all involved. At our own places, of course.
