I’m Here

In my new place, that is. I won’t show you the boxes outside I need to go through but the inside is at least functional.

My muscles ache and I have blisters on my feet so I am planning to play some games and go to bed. Tomorrow I will start putting things away before and after we pick up Monkey and Tara.

As you can tell, there is still a lot more to paint, but I have lots of time.

I am extremely grateful to Cin for letting Suzy and I stay, but really glad it’s over.

Made A Major Decision/Purchase

Quick review for those that are new:

I lived in a mobile home park for the last 3 years and the rent climbed until it was unaffordable. I sold my mobile home and put money in the bank with the intention of using it as a down payment on a condo or townhouse for which I am FHA approved. In the meantime, I moved in with my friend C. and my cat, putting my stuff in storage and my other two cats in a Pet Hotel.

Next week will be a month and Nothing is available! C.and I are both losing patience and I want my babies back so…

I found and purchased a 25 foot Trailer. I will soon be able to get my babies back. I will need to get a Handyman to do a couple things, though. There is a Lot available here and the Space Rent is only $378 a month. Plus, my Trailer Lot # will be the exact same as C’s. Just a different street name. How cool is that?!

The Cons of this are;.

I may need to Downsize some more.

I will probably need a shed.

It’s not exactly larger, like I wanted.

There really wasn’t another option.

Pro’s:

Space Rent is definitely affordable.

I can save for a car and/or a bigger place in the future.

It has a Bathtub

My little family and I will be back together!

I will be close to Cin, but, we won’t be in each other’s space.

I’m sure I can think of more Pro’s. I’m just a bit nervous at the moment. But, as usual, I have Faith. It doesn’t look like the housing market will turn any time soon, so, this is the best choice, at present. Plus, in a few more years, I will see where I am at, financially.

I should add that I am Grateful to get my family and my privacy back, soon.

Saturday Share & Hair

We may not have class next week due to Moving Day so I hope you have all learned something to share this week. Anything at all!

Russia borders China and Europe.

If you want to color different parts of your hair different colors, you should probably do so on different days.

I see an end to my belongings being packed. Just a few clothes left, pretty much.

I spoke to the girl at Animal Inns. Tara is going to be 10 on the tenth and I will miss her Birthday. The girl told me they will give her extra attention and even sing to her! She put it on the calendar!

Here are the pictures! It actually turned out nice but, not exactly the way I’d hoped. Does it ever? It’s hard to do your hair by yourself.

Tomorrow Should Be Colorful

Today was nice, but the Manager Bitch should really shut her mouth! She told my Buyer that I am a month late on water! First of all, that’s not true! I called the office and spoke to someone else there, plus, how can I be late if the water is included with the Space Rent? And secondly, even if I were, you don’t tell the Buyer that! As I think I mentioned, there are 6 places for sale, here! That should tell the Management Company that something is wrong!

I am trying a new hair color, tomorrow as, I am sort of starting over. It’s the same brand, but the colors are awesome!

It probably won’t turn out exactly like the model, but I plan to have some fun with it.

Busy Day

Since it’s my Payday (Yes, Disability is still a payment) it was busy.

Started off by paying bills, then to put the Down Payment in the bank; before going to Mattress Firm. My mattress now is fun, but, not comfortable. It bends to one side so you feel like you are going to slide off. Plus, it’s a bit hard..which might be affecting my Migraines. Anyway, Mattress Firm is having a sale and I got a Queen sized Memory Foam Tulo Mattress that is Lavender scented at like half price! Really excited, but am going to wait till I move to use it!

After that, it was lunch at KFC where I met a guy!

He has money as he owns the restaurant chain. But, I think this relationship is short lived because I would have to visit him. He has to monitor the customers and a lot of women come to see him!

After lunch was gambling and I set an amount and did pretty well sticking to it.

Cin has a bit of a problem in that every time we go and get ready to leave, she sees a different machine and goes, “I should really try this one”.; then spends more money, she really shouldn’t. While there, a Migraine started from the smoke in the casino so, I really needed to get home and take my meds.

Stopped to get my mail on the way back..(when I am with someone, I just have them stop, so I don’t have to walk.) and was shocked to find a package in the mail! My Secret Santa from Reddit is still at it and he sent the Purple Sugar Skull Bath Set I wanted!

This picture doesn’t give it credit, but, it’s amazing! Plus, I think there might be one more thing on the way. I think the guy spent like $200.00 on me!

The people who bought the house called this afternoon and are super worried about the Background Check. My manager is asking personal questions that should have nothing to do with their qualifications like, “Why are you buying a trailer when you own a house?”. Who cares? if they have the money to pay the space Rent, let them! Anyway, I understand being nervous but I am not going to panic.

I believe Gods’ got this and whatever happens will be his will. I can’t even set the timing. I just have to pray it all works out.

Stress Life & Phone Plan

The weekend was busy.  Not sure if in a good way.

The government is helping to pay for people’s phones and plans through Cricket..and a few other companies…so I will only have to pay $5.00 a month for the next 6 months.  This included a new phone which is annoying to get set up. Unfortunately, the reception really sucks between Cin and me, as well as, between me and another friend in Henderson.  Yet, my friend in Texas can hear me clearly.

So, we got the phones on Friday, then went gambling where the machines refused to pay out.  This was our 2nd or 3rd time at Emerald Island, so we have decided not to return there.  Pizza Hut was good.  Got the $11.99 Family Meal each and still have some left.  Couldn’t find the movies we wanted to watch for free, though, so wound up watching television.  Of course, sleeping at someone else’s house is never the same, so that threw my body off, too.

Today, we went back to Cricket to sort out some stuff on the phones..here, is hoping the reception will “fix itself through the transition”..per the girl at the store..then came home with a Migraine from Hell.

Took 2 Imatrex or one full one.  Part of it could be stress over the phone plan, the fact Cins’ cars air-conditioning doesn’t work and the fact that I am running out of anti-rejection meds again. Gotta figure out just what my brother is covering, so I can start budgeting for them, better.

Anyway, looking forward to going to sleep without drugs (Imatrex) now, so, have a great night!

Saturday Sharing

Things I learned this week.

I answered a question on Reddit about what you believe happens when you die, and was accused of taking the easy way out with Paschal’s Wager.  I didn’t even know what that was!  I just answered with my belief.  And, No, I am not going to share the definition.  You get to look it up.

I also looked up the meaning of the word, ‘Dalliance’ so, you could say I learned that, too.

I also learned that I really don’t want to visit Disneyland much anymore because the Racism crap is getting ridiculous. They are redoing all the rides I grew up with and even took out the song ‘Zippity-Doo-Da’ due to being Racist and having roots from ‘Song-Of-The-South’.

I learned a lot of ways to kill a tree (Don’t Ask).

But, the main thing I learned this week is that Red Hot Candy gives me Migraines. I am pretty sure it’s the red dye because I have no problem with Cinnamon. Red Hots are one of my favorite candies, but after having Migraines for 4 days straight, I have no problem going back to missing out.

What did you all learn?

My Day Was Arbitrary

Today was Matching for Arbitrary Day on Reddit Gifts Secret Santa Exchanges.  Arbitrary Day is like the regular Secret Santa, but mid-year.  I am really excited at who I got this time, as, she was super easy to buy for!  She is 19, studying to become a teacher, likes Hello Kitty and has 5 cats.  Plus, she and her boyfriend are going to be getting married and moving, soon.  I found some really cool stuff from Hot Topic that I think she will love!  My info was also pulled, already!  Over 8,000 people signed up for this one… probably because it is the last year… and most seem really excited about following through!

I am feeling a bit better, today, although I am still a little hoarse and at one point, my ear rang…No, I didn’t answer it! I pretty much took it easy and didn’t clean, either.

We had like 2 minutes of rain, here; which sounded and smelled nice, but really didn’t help our water shortage.

Mortgage News, etc..

Woke up early this morning after playing games on my phone til 2:15, and was surprisingly full of energy. I got back to working on my Boundaries Workbook .. which needs to become a habit, again… and even worked out, as I colored my hair.

The same color..just darker again

Two friends have updated their hair color, lately; so, I figured it must be time.

My Mortgage Girl got in touch and my credit only needs to go up 2 points in order to be approved for a loan! Plus, the loan will be approved for more than the other girl said, so I will have more options open to me.

One question though for any of you Real Estate people out there: If I get approved for a specific amount, that does not mean I have to spend that whole amount, does it? Example, If I get approved for $100k, can I still choose a place for $70k? I don’t want to have to go really high just because I was approved. The mortgage girl said.. Let’s call her “MG”..that different banks approve different amounts and some won’t go lower. What exactly does this mean? Sorry, just realized that was two questions.

Anyway, I am excited because it looks like I might be out of here before the space rent goes up in October, which is my goal.

Also, and this might sound dumb, but, with Puma gone, my cats and I are ready for a new start. I still miss her hanging out by her… okay, she thought it was hers…wall heater.
