Stress Life & Phone Plan

The weekend was busy.  Not sure if in a good way.

The government is helping to pay for people’s phones and plans through Cricket..and a few other companies…so I will only have to pay $5.00 a month for the next 6 months.  This included a new phone which is annoying to get set up. Unfortunately, the reception really sucks between Cin and me, as well as, between me and another friend in Henderson.  Yet, my friend in Texas can hear me clearly.

So, we got the phones on Friday, then went gambling where the machines refused to pay out.  This was our 2nd or 3rd time at Emerald Island, so we have decided not to return there.  Pizza Hut was good.  Got the $11.99 Family Meal each and still have some left.  Couldn’t find the movies we wanted to watch for free, though, so wound up watching television.  Of course, sleeping at someone else’s house is never the same, so that threw my body off, too.

Today, we went back to Cricket to sort out some stuff on the phones..here, is hoping the reception will “fix itself through the transition”..per the girl at the store..then came home with a Migraine from Hell.

Took 2 Imatrex or one full one.  Part of it could be stress over the phone plan, the fact Cins’ cars air-conditioning doesn’t work and the fact that I am running out of anti-rejection meds again. Gotta figure out just what my brother is covering, so I can start budgeting for them, better.

Anyway, looking forward to going to sleep without drugs (Imatrex) now, so, have a great night!

Saturday Sharing

Welcome to todays installment of What I Learned This Week.

Please join the discussion in the Comments

First, I learned if you switch phone plans and phones periodically, you can really save money!  Cricket had a great deal which included a Free Phone at $5.00 a month for the next 6 months with Autopay. This is actually a government program for those who qualify, and the phone is a Cricket Ovation 2 with 5 g. which is really good.

The 2nd thing I learned is about the Tarantula:

The male Tarantula is the one that goes looking for a mate. If he sees a nest and maybe a females leg hanging out of it, he knocks…. Pay close attention to the next part. It’s funny and creepy as hell….The female meets the male at the entrance and if she likes him, she approves. If she doesn’t like him. She eats him! Imagine? Knock..Knock… “Hello,. Oh Hell No, You are totally ugly and have an attitude. But, I am hungry and now you won’t waste anyone else’s time!”…

Oh, but it gets worse..

.So, the female has approved. Now the male…. probably to make sure the female doesn’t change her mind…stuffs his ladies mouth with some webbing..a gag, if you will….Bet, you never knew Tarantulas were kinky! But alas, their not. He has to use his hands/claws/legs? to get his juices/etc and put them inside the woman…How sadly unromantic is that?

I also learned a male Tarantula can live 12-14 years, if he doesn’t get eaten.

I actually learned more about Tarantulas but am starting to get itchy writing this, so I will end, here.

Looking forward to hearing/reading what you learned.

Another Helping Day, Etc..

Went to J’s to help with Moving Sale.  Made signs and cut paper for pricing.  Don’t ask me pricing suggestions if you don’t want to hear them!  Got a Migraine after getting high from the pen I was using so came home and went down with Imatrex after lunch and listing the sale on 3 free sites.   The Moving Sale is at Boulder & Sahara in Las Vegas this Sat & Sunday from 8-5. Follow the orange signs. Please share. It’s a whole household of stuff.

C. and I are thinking J. is not going to be gone in time.  She is waiting til the last minute on most everything; like she wants everyone else to do everything.  We have our own lives and are helping as much as we can.

MetroPCS is messed up. They took my payment before my due date causing bank late fee’s. When I called, they said they can take the payment 5 days early. That’s Wrong! It’s on Autopay! They changed my due date and are supposedly passing my complaint to a Manager.

Lastly, called USPS about a package sent to my BFF on 12/9 that has still not been received. Same shit..”In transit. Arriving late.” When you hit the option to speak with someone, they want you to wait an hour but preface that with “Our representatives have no different information.” There needs to be better ways to mail stuff. This is ridiculous.

Back To Normality

Finally! I am back to MetroPCS and may never leave them again. I could barely post and couldn’t open images or see any pictures. Even Facebook has been 6 days off.

Aside from stressing over that; I’ve been stressing over family..actually From not Over family, reading books, Watching movies and Cozi TV, helping my neighbor organize her Yard Sale and being really sick again with Migraines and Flu type symptoms.

I am going to take some time soon to try to catch up on what I’ve missed…which means all of you!

Thanks for hanging on and being patient.

On Countdown

8 more days until I go back to a real, unlimited phone plan. I will have a lot of reading and commenting to catch up on. This plan lets me write but I can read hardly anything with images, at present. Believe me, I learned my lesson.

Sometimes, Cheaper isn’t the savings you think it will be. I guess I could make the comparison of name brand food products. Have you ever tried generic Mayonaise? It’s disgusting! I don’t care if I am saving $2.00 for the jar, if I can’t down it, I am not wasting the money.

These cheap phone plans are horrible. From the first day..in the case of Mint…my data completely stopped for like 3 hours, and with HelloMobile, I think I got maybe a week and a half, if that. Sure, they can still advertise Unlimited, but it’s so spotty that 99% of the time, it’s useless.
