Thoughts Verses Action

Woke up this morning with thoughts of things I need to start doing daily, again…like studying my Boundaries and my Bible, as well as set exercise.

I got one of two accomplished.  While, I did not partake in my half hour exercises like I need to get back to; I did move the refrigerator to clean behind it, so that should count for something.  I did spend a lot of time studying Gods word, today, as well as, talking to a friend from Bible Study on the phone about it.

On another note, did you hear about the lady and her brother that were attacked and killed during a Zoom call, in California?  I don’t know if it was her son but it was a relative and he is in custody.  Apparently, the woman was on the Zoom call and heard a commotion..the son or whoever was dragging her brother out of the house and stabbing him.  By the time the police got there, she had been stabbed to death too.  But, can you just imagine being part of that Zoom call as a spectator?  Even if you didn’t see anything, I am sure you would hear the commotion.

This world is out of control. I am interested to learn the motive, though.

Sales & World Changes

I am selling the Washer & Dryer that J gave me since they don’t fit. If you know anyone here in Vegas or Henderson, please pass the word. $200. for both and they work fine.

Taking another break from the news, soon. So frustrated with this world. Did you hear about Dr. Suess books being banned because some of his characters could have been considered racist in their appearance?

I am getting so tired of the Bullshit and also seriously concerned for our future.

Slavery cannot even be spoken of.. What’s next? If you were forced to burn your books because of the topics of slavery or race; how would you feel? This is the stuff that happened to the Jews before the Holocaust! We need to try to fight this Idiocy, but how? And, what if they go after our Bible? It’s full of history with wars and slavery.

While this isn’t necessarily about the physical book type items, we can’t let it confuse us. There were Slaves and the Holocaust did happen! Gender is assigned at birth and nothing really changes that. Girls played house with dolls and were taught to be wives and mothers; and boys played with trucks and looked forward to fighting in wars or working in the mud. Boys didn’t care to see dolls in the stores and girls knew trucks and cars were in the Boys Toys section.

We have to hang on to what we know as the truth in our history or history is doomed to repeat itself.

Mental Tiredness & Sacrifice

Mental stress and tiredness can wipe you out, physically. I watched J’s car get driven away and the movers load her stuff and take that away, too. I snuck a Goodbye card in her purse. I will miss her. She accepted me into her family, immediately and she has come through in time of need. She is at C’s tonight and her plane takes off tomorrow at ten.

I have also filled out the form for Carvana and my finance company is faxing them the Payoff Balance. This should take place, soon. Sometimes in life, you need to Sacrifice to get a head. J. had to Sacrifice her beautiful cats because her son-in-law is allergic.

I have no other option of getting a head. I can get another cheap car in the future, but this will help me save for a down payment to move away from here. It will be difficult for a bit, but I believe it will be a blessing in the long run. Although, it will be definitely sad to see my Blessing Beetle go.

In other news, Zorro will be meeting with an interested family soon. They don’t think he will be around much more then another year due to his medical issues.

Political Thoughts

If you have been Following for a while, you know how I feel about President Trump.  You also know that I believe it was a fraudulent election.  I do not believe for one minute that President Trump instigated the protesters to storm the White House.  The Protest should have stayed civil and peaceful.  That being said, I believe there is not a chance in Hell for President Trump to recover from this.  As a matter of fact, I just received notice that he is willing to make a peaceful transition.  I feel very, very sorry for him.  At the end, even his partner, Vice-President Pence, turned against him.  Pence really did not want to recount the votes, in the first place! So, while I am not happy with the results; Biden will be our President, in a few days. I cannot allow this political shift to depress me as, it’s beyond my control.

*If you wish to comment on the above, please keep it respectful and no profanity. These are simply my thoughts and I refuse to get into political debates.

Health wise, I think I am doing a bit better. Still headachy and a sore throat. Feel as if all I do is sleep plus, wake up to eat before sleeping some more. I should kick this, soon.

J. sold her house. She is probably having one more Yard Sale before she moves away.

More Neighbor News

So, I guess my neighbor …. also my friend…is moving to Idaho to live with her daughter. This is both good and bad for her. Financially, it’s great! Her daughter and son-in-law are going to pretty much support her. Plus, they will be there for medical reasons. J. is in her late 70’s with health problems and on oxygen. In the bad aspect, she has to get rid of her two beautiful cats because her son-in-law is allergic. It will be really hard on my friend C. who is J’s sister, but I think it will be best in the long run. C. has been killing herself taking care of and looking after J. Although, she is also used to visiting her a lot. She will need to find other ways and other people to fill her free time with.

Soon I will be the longest resident in our cul-de-sac.

So ends todays Neighborhood News.

All In My Family

My family is interesting.  Usually my sisters and I are at odds over something..or waiting for the next blow up. So, it’s a nice surprise when good develops.

My eldest sister texted that she and her husband want to pay for my meds as a Birthday present like they did last year. Apparently, she also brought the idea up to my brother who might help, also. Needless to say, my meds will be paid up for a while.

In sad family news, we just learned my aunt is dying and on hospice. She is 92 years old and lives in Washington where my cousins are.

In other news, I found a form for Lot Rent Subsidy Assistance which I am going to apply for. Then, I won’t have to worry about moving until I pay the car off. My eldest sister thinks I should just get rid of the car and/or trade it in for something with cheaper payments. But, that’s not so easy when you owe more then the car is worth and your credit is poor.

I Want To Vent, And Yet..

So, the Election is over.  Or is it?  Per the Electoral College, it is.  Yet, votes are still being counted…and recounted.  So, was this like 4 years ago where one candidate got the Popular Vote and the other got the Electoral Vote?  The Electoral College is useless now.  Maybe it made sense when it was first introduced but it needs to go away.  How are we supposed to believe every vote matters when a winner is called and the counting hasn’t stopped yet.  How can the Electoral College cast their votes if their entire district is not accounted for?  And more importantly; why did this Election hit me so hard?  I feel depressed now; as if I want to cry.

If we get through the next 4 years, I hope President Trump runs again.  Yes, he might have a big mouth and say a few things he shouldn’t.  But, in my opinion, the man is tough and gets the job done.

*This was my opinion and I refuse to argue, here.  You have a right to your opinion if polite and tactful.  However, this will not turn into a political argument.

I will add one final thing, though.  Although, I may not like it.  You will not hear me use the term “Not My President” after Mr. Biden takes office.  I don’t have to agree but I have to accept.  That’s the American way.

In other news, rain is finally on the way…I hope. It was windy and cloudy today and they say we should get rain by tomorrow night. We need it.

Celebrities In Politics

I don’t usually write about Politics and this isn’t for or against a specific party so am not going there, but I want your opinion on this:

The show ‘Happy Days’ is having a reunion to support Biden\Harris.  Scott Baio who portrayed Chachi is not attending because he is a Republican and because he believes the show reunion should have nothing to do with politics.

Do you agree with Scott?  I Do!

I grew up on Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, etc..  I would love to watch the reunion, but I do not feel it right to be required to give to a political campaign in order to watch it.

I also wonder, does who a celebrity votes for have that much influence on people?  Example; Say you idolize Ron Howard…You’ve watched all his shows and movies, heck you even dress like him..But, you support President Trump.  Then, you discover Ron Howard supports Biden…Do you change your voting beliefs?  Do his views have that much of an affect?  This is why you need to be an adult in order to vote. So, we vote our own conscience and beliefs.

I pity our future generations if we are that easily swayed by celebrities.
