Quiet Paper Work Day

It was quiet so I spent time sorting paperwork.

That is, until I got frustrated and said Screw It! Packing the rest in a box and vowing to get a Shredder in the future.

Speaking of boxes, I think mine are multiplying by themselves.

I counted 52, but I am sure I missed a few, and I still have the kitchen and clothes to pack! My Goodwill bag is also filling up, which is a plus, but, damn..where does all this stuff come from? I am thinking if I can put some smaller boxes in some bigger ones, it will at least bring the total down.

The one thing I will miss when I move is seeing The Stratosphere out my kitchen window at night, so, I took some pictures.

Enjoy!

It’s the red light above one of the houses. One of the neighbors have lights up which the flash bounced off, on the far left.

Manager, Pillow & Cat

My Park Manager is so annoying!

After having to ask someone to move the mattress from the front next to the house, I had to ask a neighbor today to move it back to the front NOT against the tree (God forbid my one old mattress makes the park look crappier then it already does) because the Junk Guy comes around, tomorrow. I hope he takes the mattress even if it’s laying down!

*I wrote a letter to the Mobile Home Park Management Company telling them about the Manager, here! No, I did not sign it or put a return address except as “A Park Resident”. It may not help, but it can’t hurt.

My Pillow from Fingerhut is on the way. I swear, that thing has traveled more than I have, in the last few days. HA! Mississippi, Texas and now it’s in Arizona. I wish it would get here. It’s been a terrible month for Migraines and I am really praying it helps…along with my new Mattress.. which I seriously Love!

Ending on a note to make you smile!

Annoyed Today

No, I didn’t wake up that way.

This morning I received an email from my Park Manager about the old mattress I had leaning against a tree that I had to move ASAP because it doesn’t make our park look good. There is a lot more than mattresses in front of people’s houses, but whatever…so I dragged it as far as I could; before asking a neighbor to help me move it by my trash cans. We have a guy pick up discarded furniture, etc every other Thursday, so, I might have to put it out again tomorrow night or Thursday morning. Ugh!

But, to make matters worse, the Manager said someone stole the Buyers Application for my house! Pardon the french,but..What The Fuck!?? The Buyers put the Application in the office Mailbox which is in the Door! How the Hell can someone steal that!? Knowing the Manager, she probably threw it away. I would like to ask her tomorrow, after they resubmit it, if she will be kind enough to put a rush on it since it was “Stolen”, but, I am afraid that might backfire.

I am just concerned on the timing. I know of one place opening in the park Cin is in and if I miss that, I don’t know what will open in October.

I am trying not to stress, but.. Please keep those prayers coming, if you do that.

In good news, I signed up to be a Rematcher for Secret Santa and my person received the first part of their gift today! I really hope they like it and I also hope they get my sense of humor.

3rd Time?

Here we go again!

The Buyers were denied in the Background Check so once again, they are getting refunded and the house is back up for sale.

But, I have not given up. I believe if I don’t do this now, I won’t have a deposit when something comes open. I also believe God is in control of the timing and there are good reasons for these setbacks.

I have already showed the home to someone, tonight and will be relisting it, tomorrow. I am still getting calls, anyway.

The guy, tonight, tried to low-ball me and asked stupid questions about things the park will and won’t allow that are beyond my control. He also took a screenshot of the Title due to wanting to make sure there are no liens on the property even though I told him, there aren’t. I finally said, “Why don’t you go home and think about it and I will think about your offer and put it back up for sale?”.

I do not want to take another Deposit and have to refund it!

House Move Update

I don’t usually Post twice, but, since I sucked yesterday.

Beauty Sleep

If Beauty Sleep were real, I should be the most or one of the most beautiful women in the world! I slept round the clock last night..from around 10 p.m. until 10:16 this morning. I don’t know why. I guess my body just needed it.

Needless to say, today wasn’t the most productive. But, I did get my walking in, mailed my form off to renew my Snap Benefits, and signed up to join a Bible Study on Zoom that our church is starting on Wednesday. Monday will be for men and Wednesday nights for women. We will be studying Ephesians.

The illegal fireworks have started… it’s illegal, here in the park… and since I am “That” person, I do have the Report Form on my main page.. just in case. You can report anonymously so at least they can check the neighborhood.

Hope you all have a safe 4th-Of-July!

Love Seat Low Down

Sad news:

Cin did not get the Love Seat because B. wasn’t able to pick it up in time. I mean, it was Free! The people weren’t going to hold it, forever. It was first come, first served. Needless to say, someone else’s behind is probably sitting on it right now! Next time, I find one that might work, I will see if I can get the neighbors to help me bring it here for B. to pick up. This is the same guy who painted my house so you know he isn’t the most dependable on timing.

Ame and Ken had their cat put down, this morning. They gave me her cat food.

This was Tempest

She was 20 years old.

It’s sad, but:

The neighbors next to them came over and asked if they wanted their bird. So now Ame and Ken..and Jer since he lives there.. have a green parakeet. We’ve determined it’s a girl! The neighbors that originally had kept putting her cage on the porch during the day and taking her in at night. It’s to hot here, for that! I guess Ame went and talked to it, which is why the neighbors offered it to her, stating they can’t keep it because they have a baby. There was a Cheeto at the bottom of the cage so.

At least, this little bird will get a good home, and they won’t be getting a rebound cat, just yet. They need time to grieve.

I cleaned the bathroom, today. You know it was bad when not only do you not know if the pipe is purple or gray, but, you find a tube of lotion which is empty that you have never heard of or use.

Also, packed another box so…

Another ‘Women’s’ Treasure

We’ve all heard the saying, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” but what if you’re a woman? I know…I know… it’s just language..blah..blah…

But, here is a true example:

Cin has been wanting a new Loveseat to replace the one in her 5th Wheel…. She has had it since 2017…. Last week, one of my neighbors had one to get rid of…. When you want to get rid of furniture, you put it in front of the house for either the neighbors, trash man or junk guy to take…but when she put her hand down the side to see if the cushions would come off, her fingers got into a nest of bugs. Cin is not a squeamish person so for her to freak out, it was bad. Anyway, that was last week, I think. Yesterday, as I was walking home from the mailboxes, I passed this Loveseat

and took the picture. I forgot to tell her about it til today. But, needless to say, it’s still there, clean…well, the owner said stained. They are getting rid of it because it is old…. and really comfortable. So Cin and B are going to pick it up, tomorrow. We just have to pray it will fit in the 5th Wheel…. Which, Cin lives in, by the way.

So, while this is more of Cin’s story, I did my good deed by finding it for her.

Prompt ‘Neighbors’

A blogging friend at ConfusingMiddle here on WordPress has given the prompt of Neighbors, this week. If you haven’t checked out their blog yet, I highly recommend it.

Anyway, Moving Forward:

Years ago, they sang a song on Sesame Street or Mr. Rogers Neighborhood titled; “Who Are The People In Your Neighborhood.” The song was a bit off, though, because it focused on the Postman, the Policeman, and the Milkman. It made no reference to the Drug Addict, The Hoarder, or the Crazy Cat Lady…Not just me.

I think your Neighbors are the ones who live near you. In my case, in the mobile home park, I live in. If you live in an apartment complex, it’s those residents. The ones in the immediate vicinity of where you live.

I have talked a bit about my Neighbors, as some have become friends; like J. who is moving. Speaking of which, it is now Official, and she will be out and probably gone, next week.

Be sure and tell me if you sang the song I mentioned, and if you have it stuck in your head now

You’re Welcome!
