I don’t know what I learned this week. In truth, I am exhausted!

The sale fell through. The guy lost his ID and can’t get a replacement for another week and Whackjob got her Deposit back. But, she gave me $100. for my trouble.

Already showed it to two other people. One guy wanted me to practically give it away and the other family took my info.

Finally got my haircut, then C. and I went gambling for a few after going to Taco Hell. I really do like their Potato Tacos.

Anyway, I am tired and have a feeling I will be showing the house again, tomorrow.

*Facebook just sent a message saying I was hacked and locked my account! This sucks.

Quick Question & Favorites

First, the important question:

Do Property Managers check credit when you have a Pre-Approval Letter?

I am qualified for the letter! But, I need to purchase a Mattress. Can a Property Manager still check credit? With the purchase, my score will drop. Will it matter?

* I hope someone with knowledge can answer today as there is a discount offered today only on my mattress choice.

Now for some fun questions:

Since I signed up for the Color Exchange on Reddit, I thought it would be fun to learn about a few of your personal favorites.

1. Color- My favorite color is Purple, preferably Dark, Purple.

2. Animal- My favorite domestic animal is the Cat and my favorite wild animal is the Black Panther. Those things are just regal, looking

3. Your Choice- Add a favorite of whatever you want.

I will go with Pie. My favorite Pie is Lemon Meringue.

Semi-Lucky Day

Both my doctor appointments today were jokes and not in a laughing way.  My Primary was confused about the Prolia and could not explain clearly how things are done, so, I didn’t get the injection.

Then my Nephrologist jumped all over me for not seeing her for over a year when she told me to wait because COVID-19 had just started.  So, I waited til I had both my vaccines.  She also got annoyed when I told her I can’t get an Ultrasound because I have a hard time holding urine.  I swear, after I move, I might just get a new Nephrologist.  Oh, and now she wants me to buy a Blood Pressure Machine!

On the flip side, Cin and I went gambling and I started with $20. she loaned me, but ended up making approximately $200. After gambling a bit more, paying her back, plus getting lunch and dinner, I still brought quite a bit home.

As for lunch, we tried the new PT’s Pub at Arizona Charlie’s on Decatur and it was horrible! The food was tasteless, the cheese was weird and the service was way to slow. I definitely don’t recommend it.

Things I learned this week.

I answered a question on Reddit about what you believe happens when you die, and was accused of taking the easy way out with Paschal’s Wager.  I didn’t even know what that was!  I just answered with my belief.  And, No, I am not going to share the definition.  You get to look it up.

I also looked up the meaning of the word, ‘Dalliance’ so, you could say I learned that, too.

I also learned that I really don’t want to visit Disneyland much anymore because the Racism crap is getting ridiculous. They are redoing all the rides I grew up with and even took out the song ‘Zippity-Doo-Da’ due to being Racist and having roots from ‘Song-Of-The-South’.

I learned a lot of ways to kill a tree (Don’t Ask).

But, the main thing I learned this week is that Red Hot Candy gives me Migraines. I am pretty sure it’s the red dye because I have no problem with Cinnamon. Red Hots are one of my favorite candies, but after having Migraines for 4 days straight, I have no problem going back to missing out.

What did you all learn?

Hot Topic Burns

A while back, I did a post titled ‘Credit Or Not’. This is sort of a continuation.

I went back and forth with Hot Topic and their Credit Card Customer Service Department only to be told the Hard Pull was a “System Error” on their part. However, in order to get this off my report, I had to write them a letter for them to get hold of Experian. It was their fault! I shouldn’t have to do anything! But, I did that and also said if it was not a “System Error” and they are doing Hard Pulls on purchases verses new customers or late payments, they have lost a customer. What really pisses me off is it takes 30 days per Experian for a dispute to be resolved!

In good news, I received my GlutenEase today which I have been out of for a long time, so Cin is coming to get me so I can get my monthly sandwich from Port-Of-Subs. My stomach is growling just thinking about it.

Shopping

Today, Cin and I went to Smith’s, an indoor Swap Meet and Smart and Final.

I know I don’t exercise enough because I am really sore!  And, if I am sore, I can’t imagine how Cin is feeling; she exercises a lot less than I do despite the fact her doctors say she needs to.

Anyway, I tried on Sandals..to no avail because I need narrow…I have always had a hard time getting shoes and when I was young, my mother took me to the Marine Base for them. What’s interesting is, I can wear children’s sizes if they are narrow enough…but I digress.. ..and had lunch, while at the Swap Meet, plus, I bought some food from Smart and Final to freeze until my GlutenEase gets here, which should be here by Wednesday.

Think Rosemary Sourdough Bread and Hand Made Shrimp Tempura!

Hope you all have a great night.

Technically, it’s tomorrow

I try to Post every day except Sunday and even though it’s after midnight, I am still referring to it as my Wednesday Post.

I found a few ways to go on buying a place.. through Zillow where I found the Listing or through an old friend who is a Realtor and helped me, before.

My house is almost finished being painted.. just the trim is left and that will be done this weekend.. hopefully.

Finally went to Krispy Kreme to get my Free Donut since I got the COVID Vaccines. To bad, I don’t live closer to one. Those donuts are delicious.

Covered In Cream Soda

Cream Soda is delicious! Except when you’re wearing it. I opened the bottle and it went crazy! All over me, my bed, my phone, my glasses!

Thank God for bathtubs, clean water and bath oil.

Today wasn’t the best. Tried nursing a headache without Imatrex. Slept over 4 hours. It’s still here. Think it’s part sinus. I only get so many Imatrex a month so ..

Other than that, I have to laugh. I am a 56 year old woman who still enjoys Sesame Street. Today was brought to you by the letter P and we learned about Patterns, as well as, learned a new dance with 3 moves. Plus, Cookie Monster ate an Apple, which is totally wrong…It should have been an apple flavored cookie!

Miscellaneous Week Wrap Up

My washer/dryer arrived today but since nothing is simple, I can’t use it until Monday.  Apparently, it is a 220 volt and my last one was 110 so the electrician will be back to wire it.  Unfortunately, my handyman is charging me more for pick-up then the store would have done for the delivery.  Oh well.

Susy likes it, already.

The other night I had a dream that a friend of mine got married and didn’t tell me.  When I awoke, I called him.  Turns out he is gett

ing married and I will be invited.  Koontzfan made an interesting comment today that she finds it funny that I love to watch shows about food and dieting, etc.. when I have never been overweight But, I just like the knowledge as well as watching some of the food challenges like Chopped.

I was watching a show on YouTube today where Brits and Americans in the U.S.A switched diets and some of the Brits ate PB & Jelly Sandwiches for the first time. One girl was funny. She said it’s like Hell. If you went to Hell, they would serve it every day.

Vitamins. Yes Or No

Koontzfan (my BFF) and I were discussing Vitamins, yesterday.

She has bought a bunch of different Vitamins and starting her own regimen. Upon researching what she has put together, I am a bit concerned about side effects for her. I then, made some changes to my Vitamins. I found a Vitamin called Migralief which has excellent reviews as a Migraine Preventer or at least lessons the frequency. However, it contains Magnesium. So, as not to get to much Magnesium, I also had to get a different Calcium supplement. I am going to put aside a few of the Vitamins I am taking now and exchange for the new ones, to see if they work.

My questions are:

Do you take Vitamins of your own choice or only on doctor’s orders? Do you take Vitamins at all or do you feel you get what you need from food and life?

In the olden days, people didn’t need Vitamins; but now with smog, chemicals, etc…I think we do.

I try not to put to many chemicals in my body and to eat healthy, but I believe Vitamins give me that added boost.

Thoughts?
