Stress Life & Phone Plan

The weekend was busy.  Not sure if in a good way.

The government is helping to pay for people’s phones and plans through Cricket..and a few other companies…so I will only have to pay $5.00 a month for the next 6 months.  This included a new phone which is annoying to get set up. Unfortunately, the reception really sucks between Cin and me, as well as, between me and another friend in Henderson.  Yet, my friend in Texas can hear me clearly.

So, we got the phones on Friday, then went gambling where the machines refused to pay out.  This was our 2nd or 3rd time at Emerald Island, so we have decided not to return there.  Pizza Hut was good.  Got the $11.99 Family Meal each and still have some left.  Couldn’t find the movies we wanted to watch for free, though, so wound up watching television.  Of course, sleeping at someone else’s house is never the same, so that threw my body off, too.

Today, we went back to Cricket to sort out some stuff on the phones..here, is hoping the reception will “fix itself through the transition”..per the girl at the store..then came home with a Migraine from Hell.

Took 2 Imatrex or one full one.  Part of it could be stress over the phone plan, the fact Cins’ cars air-conditioning doesn’t work and the fact that I am running out of anti-rejection meds again. Gotta figure out just what my brother is covering, so I can start budgeting for them, better.

Anyway, looking forward to going to sleep without drugs (Imatrex) now, so, have a great night!

Having Credit Or Not

I really don’t understand how Credit works and here’s why:

You need Credit to build Credit and if you don’t have Credit, it’s hard to start building. Sometimes, you need a deposit or an account where you put so much money in first in order to prove you will pay.

Here is my scenario:

The mortgage company said I needed my Credit to go up by 2 points before they do another Hard Pull. The other day my Credit score says one company went up one point and the other went down 12. I’m like, What the heck? Turns out, by using a store card I haven’t used in a while, my Credit score dropped. But, I have already made a payment, in hopes it will go back up quickly. Every payment I make on time..or hopefully earlier…raises my score. If I pay off both my open store accounts, I won’t have any Credit and that would totally hurt me, because I mainly use debit, which is not reported.

Painting Progress

The house was started today. Praying it’s not windy tomorrow or can’t paint. This is today’s end.

That is the house with the old paint scraped off and pressure washed.

Migraines come and go. Was fine this morning but the day was loud and am now stressing over money.

Have a great Sunday!

Quick Update

I woke up around 5:30 so I am tired now. But, I thought I would show you the reason for my ride, the other day.

This was Before
And these are After

With the car gone and new goals, I am spoiling myself, a bit.

All debts are paid so I got a Fingerhut card so I can purchase things with low, monthly payments in order to keep some sort of credit history and up my score.

My first purchase was a Karaoke Machine which I have been totally wanting for something else to do around here.

Quiet Payday

When your on Disability and get paid only once a month, the day it hits your bank means a lot. Since the rent was covered with the last Stimulus; it was nice to pay off almost all debts and get down to just the car payment. I say “almost” because I forgot a small bill.

I am stocked on food and I took out some money for the laundromat and to wash my car, so I am pretty well set, this month. Plus, I was even able to get a set of Vegetable Shaped Catnip toys. The cats favorite toy looks like Kale and reads ‘Kale Yeah’. They fight over it; the set has Carrot, Corn, Zucchini and Banana..to name a few. I am going to throw away a few of their old toys, once the new set arrives.

I still hope and pray we get another Stimulus Check so I can actually pay a head on the car and maybe put something away in Savings. I would also like to get some Migraine Patches to try, but have to wait on that.

This month has been the worst for Migraines and I don’t know why. Maybe stress over Jeans animals? I know they are not my responsibility, but my heart breaks that she gave them away and even more for that dog, as I really doubt they will adopt him out.

Prayers Please that I can give that situation to God.

All In My Family

My family is interesting.  Usually my sisters and I are at odds over something..or waiting for the next blow up. So, it’s a nice surprise when good develops.

My eldest sister texted that she and her husband want to pay for my meds as a Birthday present like they did last year. Apparently, she also brought the idea up to my brother who might help, also. Needless to say, my meds will be paid up for a while.

In sad family news, we just learned my aunt is dying and on hospice. She is 92 years old and lives in Washington where my cousins are.

In other news, I found a form for Lot Rent Subsidy Assistance which I am going to apply for. Then, I won’t have to worry about moving until I pay the car off. My eldest sister thinks I should just get rid of the car and/or trade it in for something with cheaper payments. But, that’s not so easy when you owe more then the car is worth and your credit is poor.

Let’s Talk About Goals

My BFF is having a hard time with financial goals. One minute she wanted to save for a cruise, or a trip to Disneyland; now it’s a possible Wedding and a trip to New York. Two separate trips. Wouldn’t it be easier to have one goal to stick to?

I wish to pay off my car so I can get a better place. That is the main goal I focus on. Or, to get a better place without paying off my car, but it’s the same long-term result.

What about you? Do your long-term goals change often or are you keeping focus on what you truly want? How hard is it for you?
