Migraines, Moving & Holidays

It’s been a bad start of the month with Migraines. Between the Flu Shot, Cat Stress and a Dirty Heater Vent.

Yesterday was a Double! But no more side effects from the Flu Shot, I am using extra blankets, and no reason to stress over the cat situation. I have booked rooms (Kitty Cottages) at a Pet Hotel called, Animal Inns. They have great reviews and take all types of animals! I recommend checking out the website. Plus, Monkey and Tara will be able to see each other and have playtime together. Monkey isn’t much for sharing a room though, so I couldn’t book them, together. I am looking at this as Vacation Time for the animals!

Plans have changed a bit. Suzy is going to Cin’s a few days, prior. Monkey and Tara go to the hotel on Friday, and Saturday, the big move takes place. This is in two weeks.

Still debating on movers or help from workers in front of Home Depot, etc.. Can anyone in Las Vegas recommend reasonable local movers?

I can’t finish this without observing what today is:

Columbus Day

and now,

Indigenous Day

Any parades scheduled to celebrate either? Or, is it just another whole group of people that can be happy their group will be acknowledged per the Calendar?

Still Blah

I don’t have the Flu. But I have Flu Symptoms which is almost as fun. Periodically sweating, can hardly stay awake, aching muscles, low appetite…

In good news, I have set a moving date and reserved storage. Still need to figure if I want Cin to drive the truck or get some actual Movers. Gotta take the cats in next week for shots so hopefully I will get a good deal on Boarding.

Tra won’t be happy; but, they are My babies and I have to do what’s best for them!

Temporary & Flu Shot

I checked on a few Siegel Suites today, thinking at least I could keep my cats with me but they don’t allow 3 animals. I also tried The Suites which do but they charge almost $500. a week! That is absolutely insane! Tra said she would take them but she has 3 cats and a dog and doesn’t want to keep my girls separate from hers, which I think will cause serious problems. So, my final option is probably going to be boarding them at the vet for a while. It sucks and I feel bad, but I really hope something opens quickly so it won’t be for to long. I would like to get them out around the 16th or so and me out around the 20th, so I have time to come back and clean this place.

I went for my Physical today and while there, I had my Flu Shot. That was around 3. Within the last hour, I am starting to get achey and sweaty. Ugh. It’s 6 now.

Cin and I tried Panera Bread. We were going to try Pizza Rev but I guess they are permanently closed. Panera Bread was okay, but not overly impressed. My Flatbread Pizza was blah and their topping options are minimal for the price. I took a lot home and will fix it up with Garlic and Olives for next time. Cin wasn’t overly impressed with her Chicken Noodle Soup Bread Bowl either, but the actual Baguette served on the side, was fresh.

When Cats Stress

The cats know something is up so they are stressing!

Someone pee’d on my bed! Yes, What a joyous thing to wake up to. NOT.

Needless to say, developed a Migraine from that.

The people that want the house also want to pay extra for the Washer/Dryer. At first I was like, Cool, I don’t have to move it. But this morning I am thinking “NO! What if I need another one? The size is hard to find!” I am going to see if Tra might want to store and use it for a while. She needs a Dryer.

So, that’s my morning so far.

Laundry is running, and waiting to hear from the guy about the Background Check. Plus, need to get a Purchase Agreement printed we can take it to get notarized. Then, he can proceed getting the money from his 401K.

This is kind of a pain. When I was in AZ, I sold my mobile home and the girl saw it, gave a deposit, then we went and signed off.

Praying for a Miracle of a place to come up. Really not looking forward to the small, temporary trailer option, but at least my family would stay together.

Although, if they keep acting up, I might think differently. HA!

The Escape Room

The book I read is called, ‘The Escape Room’s by Megan Goldin’

Basically, it’s about some corporate Big-Wigs getting ordered to attend a Mandatory meeting. When they arrive they are told it is a Team Building Meeting in an Escape Room on the 80th Floor. However, once the elevator starts, it doesn’t reach the 80th floor. The clues are in the elevator! Of course, there is lots more to this book. Like what happened before, is the elevator really an Escape Room and do they escape? And of course, who is behind this and why? I am not answering these questions as, you have to read it for yourself.

In real life, I got some more money dropped off for the house, but, I need to find and fill out a Purchase Agreement, apparently so the buyer can get the money from his 401K. Anyone know where to get one, other than Walmart? I don’t have a Printer.

I am mentally getting ready to look at storage places and PO boxes, as it looks like I might be going to somewhere really small until I actually find something more permanent.

Of course, God works Miracles and I am a Believer so you never know…

Dull Day

The weather was blah and so was I.

Had a long talk with my Realtor. There is seriously Nothing out there in my price range! However, the eviction ban is lifting starting tomorrow, I believe..so…

Something may open next week in the park where Cin lives for under $500. It would be super small, but better than a hotel, for a while. I am also considering an apartment for a year or so..but, even those are super high!

I know I said I wasn’t going to stress. But, I am Human so I do, anyway.

Also finished a book today and had a Migraine. Figured I would get one after reading like 3 hours straight. Maybe, I will do a review on it, sometime. It was really good.

What Would You Do?

I don’t usually blog on Sunday but I totally need your help. Here’s the situation:

I sold my mobile home for enough to purchase a small trailer to live in,with cash.

Pro’s:

Trailer paid off. Only Space Rent. I could afford a car, soon. I could move it if I ever wanted to move. I wouldn’t have to worry about Property Tax, Homeowners Insurance, etc.. In the future, might be able to purchase land and/or go up to a bigger size.

Cons:. Super small or at least feels it. Might lose inside Washer & Dryer. Cats might lose a Cat Tree and would have to get creative with litter boxes.

Technically, it’s tomorrow

I try to Post every day except Sunday and even though it’s after midnight, I am still referring to it as my Wednesday Post.

I found a few ways to go on buying a place.. through Zillow where I found the Listing or through an old friend who is a Realtor and helped me, before.

My house is almost finished being painted.. just the trim is left and that will be done this weekend.. hopefully.

Finally went to Krispy Kreme to get my Free Donut since I got the COVID Vaccines. To bad, I don’t live closer to one. Those donuts are delicious.

Progress & Humor

I have found a few possible condos on Zillow that would be cheaper then here even with the monthly payment. So, I have contacted a Lender to see if I Prequalify for anything. Prayers, Please.

I am considering putting my house up for sale within the next few weeks. We shall see. Hey, if God wants this to happen, it will!

As for humor, here is another page from my Punctuation Calendar. Remember, Comma’s are very important!

Missed Yesterday

Hey Guys,

Sorry I missed, yesterday. May as well be honest and say I forgot until it was to late. I didn’t forget thinking of you; just the writing part.

Still debating on which way to go when I sell this place.. Another mobile home or a Travel Trailer. Either way, I need cheap to no space rent.

The wind is back in force which doesn’t help my sinuses or Migraines especially when I have to walk to the mailboxes.
