The Heat Is On

The hottest temperature on record for Nevada was 124 f on June 29, 1994. I can’t imagine! The hottest in Las Vegas was 118.2 f on July 24, 1842, I believe and we have come close lately, matching records of 117 f. The heat is not the worst aspect; the humidity has been really high!

One thing I have learned from this is, I don’t care how much money you have, you don’t need a personal sauna; if you crave that, just step outside for a few.

When it gets hot like this, a few songs come to mind. They are old songs and I don’t remember the bands, but here are the titles:

Some Like It Hot
The Heat Is On Hot Blooded Hot, Hot, Hot

Can you think of any songs with the word “Hot” in the title?

At least FL has beaches to jump into!! lol Well, probably the Gulf or ocean would be a better idea to jump into, instead of the sand!!
