Started my day juicing carrots! I know if it’s healthy or not since I put everything in it. Carrots, Ginger, Honey, Vinegar and Sugar. And before you preach about how bad sugar is; some of us need it.

Watching my friends deal with health issues as they age is opening my eyes more to take better care of myself. C. ..I will call her Cin… has heart issues, obesity, diabetes and more; plus, she was in the hospital yesterday for a possible heart valve leak. Apparently, she had heart surgery for that, before. I watch her get short of breath when walking a few steps, have her legs swell and have even a small scratch turn into a bruise. I also watch her refuse to change her diet no matter what the doctors recommend.

My BFF also has weight issues and I watch her yoyo back and forth with different diets.

I, myself, have a weak bladder among other things and know I need to exercise more. I seem to cycle on that. I will start off excited and motivated before I stop and forget for a few months.

How does one keep up the action and motivation?

Thoughts?
