Others’ Places

When I was younger, I used to love spending the night at a friends’ house.  Now, I always come home, exhausted..like, “It was nice to visit but, glad I don’t live there.”  C. picked me up, yesterday.  First we went to Emerald Isle Casino where I only played and lost $20.  Then to her house where I bought us pizza, did laundry in her small, portable washer/spinner machine, tried to crochet..but don’t think it’s my thing cause I am extremely uncoordinated..and watched television..mainly Food Network..before going to sleep. This morning we watched The Twilight Zone before heading to Walmart. Found an awesome pair of glasses that were only $110. out of pocket, thanks to insurance.

C’s cats loved all over me and my stuff, while I was there..but I missed my own. C’s trailer is really small so you can’t really walk around each other. plus any time she moved, it rocked.  And that’s without wind.

I guess there is some truth in the saying, “There’s no place like home.”
